Improvements
Jacona, NM
2004
A phased improvement project, including an addition and interior renovations to three of the five houses in the historic 1940’s era Nathaniel Owings compound in Jacona, NM. Natural materials such as adobe, mud plaster, and wood were used in the improvements to these unique adobe structures.
The project included restoring all wood windows and door openings, and repainting to match the original color palette. Connective pathways, gates, grasses, and bamboo stripe were provided, along with extending the bedroom tumbled brick patio. A new kitchen, kiva fireplaces, heating upgrades, and extensive shelving were also included.
