Project Overview
Spears Horn Architects was chosen by St. John’s United Methodist Church to prepare a master plan for renovation and expansion of their 50-year-old church complex. Following the master plan, we designed an addition which involved a successful dialogue and approval from the Historic Design Review Board.
Project Gallery
The exterior of the addition reflects the Territorial Style of the original structure. The 17,000 SF addition was designed to extend the activity spaces of the church community, correct ADA deficiencies, and join the two existing basements with a “garden level” floor providing ample natural light.
