Project Overview
Open Hands is a nonprofit organization helping mainly low-income elders of northern New Mexico. Open Hands was given a two-acre site in the Rodeo Business Park in Santa Fe. Their new 14,795 SF facility includes a day care for up to 80 seniors.
Project Gallery
The focus of the building is the enclosed landscaped courtyard for the elderly clients. There, paths meander but are continuous in a way that is comfortable for those with dementia.
