School Addition
Pueblo of Tesuque, NM
1992
Spears Horn Architects worked closely with the school community to program the facility, ultimately trading a new kitchen and a stage for a new library. This 10,000 S.F. project added classrooms, a library and gymnasium to a 1930’s adobe structure.
This addition was respectful of the Pueblo Revival styling of the original structure and historic setting of Tesuque village, while taking advantage of the low cost of a pre-engineered steel structure.
