The Meeting House is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose meeting room constructed within the shell of a renovated 1880’s Congregational Church building. The interior includes uses of fabric, glass, and maple panelling to create a compelling space for small to medium size groups. The space has ample natural light, and can be set to black-out for presentations. The Meeting House focuses on a view to the back garden/patio. The project included an auxilary building which houses outdoor fireplace, fountain, light wells, bancos, and additional storage. Extensive exterior spaces, walkways, and plantings were connected back to the campus to reinforce an inside/outside harmony. The main space was designed to be flexible and open. The space is used for dining after Reading and Conversations – which includes a warming kitchen and restrooms. The Meeting House was completed in 2002.
The Lannan Foundation Main Building and Campus Upgrades involved implementation of energy reduction methods at this private office campus in historic Santa Fe. We directed installation of new photovoltaic and radiant panels, replaced three boilers, replaced a metal roof, and designed a new garden with screening trees, grasses, and water fountain. Replacing the dilapidated wood shingle roof on the 4,348 SF main building with a more maintenance free, fire-resistant, and weather resistant metal shingle roof. The upgrades were completed in 2009.
